How Can IBS Along With GERD Be Treated?

I have been diagnosed with IBS and Gerd, I have had this for several years. This summer I had a new maybe related problem, after eating I felt bloated but unable to belch, it felt like I had a lump in my throat. I feel faint and feels like palpitations. Had a treadmill stress test ,it was normal, have an appt with a gastro down the throat. My doctor thinks it is esophageal spasms. anyway I am a male 62. your opinion?

Consult a gastroenterologist and plan for an endoscopy.

As of now, antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole can be taken for symptomatic relief.
